Storm damage
When the weather changes everything, we help you take the next step toward home.
Overview
What Storm damage work involves.
Storm restoration has two distinct phases and they run on different clocks. First, making the building safe and closed — board-up, tarping, clearing what is dangerous — because every further rainfall adds damage that is harder to attribute to the original event. Then the repair and rebuild work.
We cover roof and exterior repairs, water intrusion extraction and drying, debris removal, and the interior reconstruction the intrusion made necessary. The emergency phase generally happens within hours; the rebuild follows a proper scope and schedule.
Pro tip
Keep every receipt: tarps, plywood, a hotel room. Insurers generally reimburse what you spend preventing further damage, but only if you can produce the paperwork.

Our process
How the work runs.
01
Make safe
Emergency board-up, clearing what is unsafe, and getting the property secure before assessment begins.
02
Protect the roof
Tarping and temporary covering so the next weather front does not add to the loss.
03
Assess and document
A full record of what the storm did — photographs, measurements and scope — for you and for your carrier.
04
Repair and rebuild
Roof, siding and exterior repairs, then the interior work the water intrusion made necessary.
Insurance
Working with your insurer.
Wind and hail damage are usually covered perils. Flooding — rising water from outside the structure — is almost never covered by a standard policy and requires separate flood insurance, a distinction that surprises people every season.
Carriers expect you to prevent further damage after a storm, and emergency tarping is normally reimbursable. Keep receipts. We document the storm’s damage separately from anything that happened afterwards, which protects the claim if the weather returns before repairs start.
