What Reconstruction work involves.
Reconstruction is the half of restoration that makes a property liveable again. Mitigation stops the damage and dries the building; reconstruction puts back everything that came out along the way — framing, subfloor, drywall, flooring, cabinetry and finishes.
Because we did the mitigation, the scope, the drying records and the schedule all live in one place. There is no handover between a restoration firm and a builder, which is the point in the process where these jobs most often stall.
Pro tip
Choose your finishes before demolition is finished. Cabinetry and flooring lead times are what delay most rebuilds — the building work is rarely the bottleneck.

Scope and schedule
A written scope of the rebuild, the sequence of trades, permits identified, and a schedule you can hold us to.

Walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you, list anything not right, and finish the list before we call it done.
Insurance
Working with your insurer.
Reconstruction is normally part of the same claim as the mitigation that preceded it, but it is settled differently. Carriers often pay actual cash value first and release the recoverable depreciation once the work is completed and evidenced.
That makes the paperwork sequence matter. We scope the rebuild in the detail adjusters expect and document completion properly, so the depreciation holdback is released rather than becoming an argument at the end of the job.
